The Gentleman’s Timepiece
The gentleman’s timepiece has long been a symbol of knowledge, adventure, status and perhaps even wealth. The military man, aviators, auto racers and the seafaring man could portray their spirit of adventure and bravery with dirty hands and boots while sporting a $5000 Rolex to express their style and status among men. The high-end watch was often given to the fly boy for graduating flight school or the boat crew for winning or placing at a sailing event. Soldiers often receive a special watch from family at some end stage of training as a sign of respect and congratulation. We are all familiar with Rolex, Omega and Tag Heuer, however the following list may not be know to most of us. From the folks at www.only4realmen.com come a list of the 20 most expensive watches. I don’t know about you, but these are not what I would be wearing in the sandbox on a contract or deployment. Enjoy
